Simpl (getsimpl.com) was formed in 2015 by Nitya Sharma, an investment banker from Wall Street and Chaitra Chidanand, a tech executive from the Valley, when they teamed up with a very clear mission - to make money simple, so that people can live well and do amazing things. Simpl is the payment platform for the mobile-first world, and we’re backed by some of the best names in fintech globally (folks who have invested in Visa, Square and Transferwise), and has Joe Saunders, Ex Chairman and CEO of Visa as a board member.

Everyone at Simpl is an internal entrepreneur who is given a lot of bandwidth and resources to create the next breakthrough towards the long term vision of “making money Simpl”. Our first product is a payment platform that lets people buy instantly, anywhere online, and pay later. In the background, Simpl uses big data for credit underwriting, risk and fraud modelling, all without any paperwork, and enables Banks and Non-Bank Financial Companies to access a whole new consumer market.

 

 

We are looking for a smart and results-oriented individual who will be instrumental in driving growth and improving brand performance

 

Responsibilities

  1. Drive growth through new user acquisition and improved retention
  2. Formulate a comprehensive marketing plan to drive the growth numbers
  3. Design multi-channel marketing campaigns - merchant marketing, paid marketing, email campaigns etc
  4. Own end to end execution of campaigns - work with copy, design, product teams
  5. Plan and execute communication journeys for users
  6. Manage and optimize creatives, CTAs, landing pages, and lead generation forms
  7. Achieve maximum ROI in paid campaigns by collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights
  8. Stay updated on promotions/campaigns run by other payment platforms, merchants

Background:

  1. 5-8 years of experience with any consumer tech company
  2. Experience in using tools such as Clevertap, Appsflyer/Branch, Google Analytics
  3. Experience in running paid campaigns for user acquisition, lead gen, app installs (FB, GDN, affiliates etc)
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
  6. Past experience in ecommerce, payments space is a bonus, but not mandatory
  7. Critical thinking and attention to detail
